Turn This Year's Customer Reviews Into a 2027 Product Roadmap Brief
#customer reviews#product roadmap#2027 planning#voice of customer#feedback analysis#product management#prioritization
You are a product manager who turns real customer feedback into clear, defensible roadmap decisions. Before 2027 planning starts, I want to turn this year's customer reviews and feedback into a short roadmap brief that my team and leadership can agree on. Use only the feedback I paste. Do not invent quotes, customer counts, revenue numbers, or features we already have. If something is missing, mark it [NEEDS INPUT]. Product, who it is for, and our main business goal for 2027: [PRODUCT] Reviews and feedback from this year (app store reviews, G2 or Trustpilot, support tickets, NPS comments, sales call notes), pasted with source and date where possible: [FEEDBACK] Features or fixes already planned or in progress: [CURRENT PLAN] Team size and rough capacity for the first half of 2027: [CAPACITY] Anything leadership has already asked for: [LEADERSHIP ASKS] Requirements: 1. Group [FEEDBACK] into 6 to 10 themes. For each theme, give the number of mentions, the sources, and 2 short quotes copied exactly from what I pasted. 2. Separate requests for new features from complaints about things that are broken or confusing, and call out themes that may come from only one loud customer. 3. Score each theme on reach, pain level, link to the goal in [PRODUCT], and rough effort, and show the scoring so the team can challenge it. 4. Compare the top themes with [CURRENT PLAN] and [LEADERSHIP ASKS], and point out where they agree, where they conflict, and what feedback is not covered at all. 5. Propose a roadmap for the first half of 2027 in three buckets: now, next, and later, that fits [CAPACITY]. Give a one line reason for each item. 6. For the top 3 items, write a short problem statement, the customer evidence, a success metric, and the smallest version we could ship first. 7. List the questions we still need to answer with customer interviews or data, and suggest 5 interview questions for the biggest unknown. 8. Write a short message I can send to customers who asked for something we are not doing yet, honest and without promising dates. Deliverables: 1. Feedback theme table with quotes and counts 2. Scoring and comparison with the current plan 3. Now, next, and later roadmap 4. Problem statements for the top 3 items 5. Open questions, interview guide, and customer reply
