Write a Research Synthesis Memo

Write a research synthesis memo from the following inputs:

Requirements:
1. Open with a 3-sentence executive summary that states the main finding and recommended next step.
2. Group evidence into 3 to 5 themes with clear labels.
3. For each theme, cite which sources support it and note confidence (high / medium / low).
4. Call out contradictions or gaps instead of forcing a single narrative.
5. End with implications, open questions, and a proposed follow-up study or decision.

Deliverables:
1. A one-page synthesis memo (500 to 700 words).
2. A theme table: theme, evidence snapshot, confidence, implication.
3. A short appendix appendix list of sources used.
