Write a Usability Test Script

Write a usability test script for [PRODUCT / FEATURE / PROTOTYPE].

1. Welcome and introduction (set the stage, explain what to expect)
2. Consent and recording permission
3. Warm-up questions (background on how they currently solve this problem)
4. Task scenarios — 4-6 specific tasks written as natural user goals (not steps)
5. Probing questions for each task ("what were you expecting?" "what would you do next?")
6. Post-test questions (satisfaction, clarity, what would you change)
7. Thank you and debrief

Include "think aloud" instruction — how to ask participants to narrate their thinking.
